I am currently a sessional instructor at Yukon University, the first university in Canada’s North.

I recently completed my PhD in philosophy at University of St Andrews, where I was a member of the Arché Philosophical Research Centre for Logic, Language, Metaphysics and Epistemology.

I was previously a student at the University of Western Ontario and the University of British Columbia (Okanagan).

My research focuses primarily on the scope, aims and criteria of a theory of natural language semantics from the perspective of generative grammar, and its relation to theories of communication, speech acts, action and other aspects of mind and cognition. I'm particularly interested in methodological issues surrounding formal treatments of context sensitivity.
